God’s ways always work. He tells us: “Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart shall thrill and tremble with joy [at the glorious deliverance] and be enlarged.”
Do your circumstances have you flat on the ground? Are you flat out, feeling exhausted, helpless, and completely overcome? That is the best place for you to say to God, “Help me.” And it is the best place from which to rise. Everything will be more beautiful once you are up again, because the glory of the Lord will rise with you.
If you look up the word “glory” in the Hebrew language, it implies that his splendor, favor, and honor are heavy upon you. Already upon you.
When we are weak, God is strong in us. His grace will get us up and get us through.
